One hour of expert interior design advice for the decisions you’re stuck on. 

 

Sometimes you don’t need a complete room design. You just need an experienced designer to look at what you already have, understand what’s troubling you and help you make the right decision.

The Design Hour is a focused one hour consultation for specific questions, dilemmas and decisions giving you clear, professional advice you can act on straight away.

 

The Design Hour is ideal if you need help with

  • Furniture placement or layout dilemmas

  • Choosing between paint colours

  • Deciding between furniture, lighting or finish options

  • Window treatment advice

  • Scale and proportion

  • Styling a particular area

  • Making existing furniture and pieces work better together

  • Working out why part of a room doesn’t feel quite right

  • Getting expert reassurance before making a purchase or decorating decision.

 

You’re welcome to bring several questions to the consultation and we’ll work through as much as we reasonably can within the hour.

 

Is the Design Hour right for you?

The Design Hour is best suited to you if you already have a room, some existing pieces or a general idea of what you want but need professional advice to help you make particular decisions.

 

How it works

Before your appointment, you’ll complete a short design form and upload photographs of the areas you’d like advice on.

We’ll review these in advance so that we understand your questions and can use your consultation time effectively.

Your Design Hour will then take place via Zoom or in person, depending on your location.

During the hour, we’ll work through your questions, offer professional recommendations and give you clear direction on the decisions you need to make.

 

The Design Hour includes

Need us to create the whole room?

If you need the overall look, layout, colours, furniture and sourcing developed for you, The Vision is the better place to start.

Please bear in mind when ordering that many of our items are designed using natural products and are hand made, hand finished and hand painted.  Products can therefore vary slightly in colour shade and shape and offer irregularities and variations that should be embraced to celebrate the craft of the artisan that made them.  Very few pieces (even the same item) are identical.
